The Committee on Science and Education upholds the draft law on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine (re allocation and control over the use of their own revenues by scientific institutions and organizations that were received from their main activity and grants)

The bill (Reg. No. 3046) establishes a norm in the Budget Code, under which budgetary scientific, scientific and research (scientific and technical) institutions and organizations can actively use their own revenues received from service charge, provided in accordance with their main activity and grants, received within the framework of scientific and technical cooperation.

The people’s deputies, authors of the bill Liliya Hrynevych, Serhiy Buriak and Tetiana Sliuz believe that adoption of the bill shall promote development of science and innovation activity in Ukraine, in line with modern needs.
